Monica Graffeo designed these unusual chair for Zilio A & C, a company with over 60 years of experience. We absolutely loved Monica’s description of her project, the “Lapigra” chair, so here is a part of her review: “It âs an object created to be messy and unseemly, not pulled, not perfect, but full of folds. The look is deliberately a bit âscruffy and casual as the atmosphere of a very lazy Sunday morning …” The chair is indeed unusual and informal, but we think this is what contributes to its charm. As the designer stated, this is not a design meant to impress someone with its spotless look, but a more personalized one, a chill out chair if you will. The chair’s strongest point is its very well defined personality and we sure love designs that make a statement.-via Decoesfera
