Beaver Street Reprise, Dashing Design and Architecture

Craig Steely Architecture is a studio based in San Francisco that combines “formal elegance with classic modernist tradition”. Beaver Street Reprise is said to be “a conceptually modern house that fits contextually into a Victorian neighborhood”. We think this projects is daring and stands out due to its beautiful wooden exterior design and the dashing indoor arrangements. Bright colors, amazing furniture and decorations contribute to the distinctive personality that this residence obviously has. A few elements draw attention, such as the suspended fireplace or the unusual coffee table.  Beaver Street Reprise houses an all-equipped apartment, an office, a wide living area, and a deck. Definitely a nice way to embrace contemporaneity in design.

Unique Faucets by Steinberg - new Structure faucet

Unique Faucets by Steinberg - new Structure faucet

There are lots of “sculptural” elements in the bathroom, what designers are doing with sinks and tubs is amazing, but these unique faucets by Steinberg are a first! With the new Structure faucet, its claim to fame is in its name. The structure of the faucet is contemporary and innovative, transforming a fixture into a chic feature. An elegant O with gently squared corners makes the chrome look like liquid. Topping the base is a slim lever to control the water flow and temperature, while becoming a notable feature in its own right. These artistic faucets would look great in a minimalist bathroom design or complementing an ultra-modern sink, and they add a modern flair to any style space. Living Large in a Small Apartment

For today we would like to show you a beautiful small apartment (61 sqare meters) located in Sweden. You are looking at a crib that is perfect for socializing but also for meditation in solitude. With wide and spacious interiors, this home looks very warm and inviting. The color palette is cheerful, yet subtle and tasteful. A large living room greets the guests with its homey feel: pillows on the floor, plenty of books to chose from. Due to the presence of many glazed windows, the boundary between inside and outside is minimal. I guess you could say that the main “attraction” of this small apartment is its stunning looking terrace, perfect for having friends over.

Combining a Coat Hanger with a Chair : Practical or Not ?

Reindee chair is a funny multifunctional design from Brazilian Studio Baita Design based in Rio de Janeiro and run by Helena Bueno and Heinz Müller. For me this design it’s funny, but for some of you this might be a very practical idea. These multi-functional pieces of furniture come in a range of heights and colors, with the taller option including the hooks for hanging hats, coats, umbrellas, purses, etc. Would you put something like this in your entry hall ? – Via – Chictip
