This modern kitchen belongs to a renovated Mediterranean style home. In order to blend the kitchen with the existing decor of the home, designer Kim Duffin tried to achieve a new free-flowing layout by removing several walls to the adjoining living areas to open the kitchen up to the rest of the home. The result was an environment for casual dining and interaction with family and friends as well as cooking and food prep. This practical and attractive kitchen design was then claimed to have incorporated clean lines, defined pathways, and a designated home for every appliance, food stuff, and utensil.
