Luxury Neoclassical Hotel, the Palace Hotel in Portorož

This luxury hotel was already built during the time of the Austro-Hungarian monarchy and hosted lots of guests from Europe ‘till end of the eighties of the previous century. The Palace Hotel was renovated and expanded to accommodate more guests. The renovation is aimed to show the connection between the stylistically different architectural movements and memory of the past. Finished by Api Arhitekti, the project area measures 28041,00 sqm. This luxury Palace Hotel has a great main façade overlooking the sea with the crystal hall and appertaining salons alongside, the side facades and historic staircase that remains untouched during the renovation. Meanwhile the extension is entirely new, but has a connection to the historic façade. Modern materials are used to build the floor structures, the mansard and the rear façade. Combine some materials such as stone cladding and greenery of the façade, the hotel can perfectly blend with the hills and the sea. Besides that, this amazing hotel is also designed with glass, stone, and steel that could complete the uniqueness of the building. The luxury Palace Hotel could fully show a great connection between old and new architecture. Sure it will be a great place to stay during your vacation in Portorož, Slovenia.
