Contemporary Office with Transparent Curved Window

An office has to be comfortable to make us be more creative and enjoy working with bunch of files. Many of us work in urban area with only concrete jungle as far as our eyes can see. Well, urban views can be beautiful also but real forest sure bring more than just fun and exciting atmosphere for us. I always imagine having a small office in suburban area with lots of woods around it. Anyway, let’s stay focus to the main subject. The below architecture project is done by Spanish architecture firm SelgasCano. This contemporary office is located in the middle of woods near Madrid. The office may look a bit usual but the curved transparent windows make it special. The transparent acrylic forms the north-facing wall of the tunnel-like space, offering plenty of natural light to the whole interior. Meanwhile the south-facing wall, the opaque, provides a perfect shade from the direct sunlight. This modern office also offers awesome views from the surrounding green environment that can be enjoyed easily. Completed with a weighted pulley mechanism at one end of the tunnel, the office allows varying degrees of natural ventilation. Besides that benefit, the workers can feel fresher and be more relax with this kind of environment. Well, we hope it will give you another idea to locate your new office building.
